Please note: Your warranty may be considered void if our pump system has not been installed in accordance with our installation instructions or by suitably qualified personnel.

Walkston Pty Ltd - Extended 24 Month Product Warranty

Walkston Pty Ltd (Walkston) pump systems are made in Australia using parts from Australia and overseas which are designed and assembled in Australia.

Our pump systems are made for multiple applications. However, our key vision is to help reduce the risk of swimming pools being pushed out-of-level due to excess water build up on the underside of the pool. No pump system, including the Walkston pump system, can guarantee pools or other applications will not go out-of-level, but the Walkston pump system is designed to reduce the likelihood of that occurring.

Our pump system comes with a warning symbol/light if the unit is not working correctly. This needs to be regularly inspected and reported to Walkston for any immediate action required by the customer to have this rectified and/or booking a service call to resolve the fault. In the unlikely event that the pump develops any malfunction within 24 months of the date of original purchase, due to faulty materials or manufacture, email info@walkston.com.au or call on the number below. On receipt of your claim, Walkston will seek to resolve your difficulties.

Limited Warranty under the Australian Consumer Law

Our products come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

Extended 24 Month Walkston Warranty

In addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, Walkston warrants its products to be free from defects in materials and/or workmanship for a period of 24 months from the original date of purchase and or installation by an authorised installer. Should a defect in workmanship or materials in our pump system covered by this warranty become evident during the term of our extended warranty, Walkston will at our option repair or replace such product or parts providing the customer follows the procedure set out in the installation instructions.

Register your pump to get the extended 24 Month Walkston Warranty

To receive our extended warranty cover for a period of 24 months from product purchase or installation date, you must register the product within 60 days from purchase or installation by doing one of the following;

1. Fill out and return the product registration card provided with the product.

2. Provide a copy of your sales invoice or installation receipt showing the date of purchase or installation.

3. Register the product online at www.walkston.com.au.

This warranty is not transferable and applies to the person who has this pump system installed by a professional pool builder or trades person with the knowledge to install our pump system within the guidelines provided with our installation instructions.

If our pump system has been altered or used for a purpose not intended, this will void our warranty.

Items Not Covered by our Warranty

This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear or apply to a product that has:

• been subject to misuse, neglect, negligence, damage or accident;

• been used, operated or maintained other than in accordance with Walkston’s instructions;

• damage caused by a freight company with poor or careless handling;

• damage due to negligence or failure to properly maintain the product as specified in our installation instructions;

• accidental damage caused by acts of god or other circumstances outside of Walkston's control;

• not been installed in accordance with our installation instructions or by suitably qualified personnel;

• been modified or altered from original specifications or in any way not approved by Walkston;

• had repairs attempted or made by other than Walkston or its authorised dealers or repairers; or

• been subject to abnormal conditions such as incorrect voltage supply, lightning or high voltage spikes, or damages from electrolytic action, cavitation, sand, corrosive, saline or abrasive liquids.

The Walkston warranty does not cover replacement of any product consumables or defects in products and components that have been supplied to Walkston by third parties (however Walkston will provide reasonable assistance to obtain the benefit of any third-party warranty).

Your warranty does not cover freight or any other costs incurred in making a claim. Customers must pre-pay all freight charges to Walkston when returning products.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Walkston shall not be liable for any loss of profits or any consequential, indirect or special loss, damage or injury of any kind whatsoever arising directly or indirectly from Walkston products. This limitation does not apply to any liability of Walkston for failure to comply with a consumer guarantee applicable to your Walkston product under Australian laws and does not affect any rights or remedies that may be available to you under Australian laws. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Walkston disclaims all other warranties, either expressed or implied, including, but not limited to, implied warranties or merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, regarding the product parts or any written materials provided.
