Maintenance Guide

Like any water pump, regular maintenance is essential.
To keep your pump operating at its full potential, please follow these simple steps:

1. Inspect and clean the pump
We recommend removing your pump from the inspection pipe at least twice a year.
Simply undo the wing nut at the top of the pipe and lift the pump out. Disconnect the 12V electrical joiner and check for any signs of moisture or corrosion.
If the pump appears dirty, clean it using warm soapy water or soak it for a few hours before rinsing.

2. Check the control box
Ensure the blue control box is operating correctly. The four standby lights should be visible, with a blue LED at the top, bottom, and sides.
Press and hold the orange test button beneath the control box for two seconds. The pump should begin operating, indicated by moving (“dancing”) lights. If water is present, it will continue running; if not, it will stop and return to standby mode.

3. Ongoing care
Following these steps will help ensure your pump operates correctly and extend its lifespan.
